Today at approximately 1:20 p.m., Idaho State Police attempted to pull over a Ford Thunderbird for not exhibiting license plates near the intersection of Greenhurst Rd. and Southside Blvd. in Nampa.

The driver attempted to elude the ISP Trooper and a chase through Nampa resulted. The driver struck at least 3 vehicles before entering I-84 eastbound at the Franklin Blvd. entrance, exit 36. Seven other ISP Troopers joined in the chase, which ended at approximately 2:00 p.m. near exit 42 when the driver voluntarily pulled over; he was then arrested on felony eluding charges. The driver also did not have a valid driver's license. He is identified as Kevin M. White, 20, of Nampa and he's been booked into the Ada County Jail. There were 3 other occupants in the car, 2 adults and 1 minor. The three were detained by ISP and later released; none were arrested. The ISP investigation is ongoing.
