One Fatality in Single Vehicle Crash Near Richfield

LINCOLN COUNTY, Idaho – Idaho State Police (ISP) is investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred on September 9, 2026 at approximately 06:30 PM at E 1120 N and N 950 E, Northwest of Richfield.

A 1991 5-ton cargo truck, driven by a 40-year-old male from Twin Falls, was travelling westbound on E 1120 N and failed to navigate the turn onto N 950 E. The driver was ejected when the vehicle overturned, and he succumbed to his injuries on scene.

ISP was assisted by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Lincoln County EMS, and the Richfield Fire Department at the scene of the crash.

This crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
