On Thursday, July 14, 2016, at approximately 5:24 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a one-vehicle rollover crash southbound on Beacon Ave just north of W. Black Canyon Highway, in Gem County.

Taryne J. Chesterfield, 22, of Emmett, was driving a 1998 Ford Explorer southbound on Beacon Ave. The vehicle went off the left shoulder. Chesterfield over corrected, bringing the vehicle back on the roadway where the vehicle rolled. Chesterfield was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. Chesterfield was transported by air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.

The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
