INCIDENT NARRATIVE: Honeycutt had been traveling eastbound on US Highway 12. He was stopped at the intersection of US 12 and Michigan Street (Milepost 44) waiting to make a left turn onto Michigan Street. Reitmeier was traveling westbound on US Highway 12 and was approaching the intersection as Honeycutt waited to make the left turn. As Reitmeier approached the intersection, a sedan made a left turn onto westbound US Highway 12 in front of Reitmeier. Reitmeier steered to miss the sedan and struck the front driver side of Honeycutt's truck. The sedan failed to stop and continued westbound.
