On Monday, September 9, 2013, at approximately 5:05 pm, the Idaho State Police investigated a one vehicle rollover crash, on Interstate 84 at milepost 157, near Wendell. Hailee Newby, 26, of Kuna, was traveling east when her vehicle drifted off the left shoulder. Newby overcorrected, lost control of the vehicle and went off the right shoulder where the vehicle rolled once. Newby and three minor children were transported to North Canyon Medical Center in Gooding.

All occupants were wearing seat belts. The eastbound lanes were blocked for approximately one hour. The crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
