On Monday, November 11th, 2013, at approximately 8:47 a.m., Idaho State Police and a Blackfoot City K9 Unit conducted a traffic stop on Interstate 86 near American Falls in Power County, Idaho. The vehicle was traveling east and was stopped for a traffic violation. The driver was identified as 37 year old male Danny Goddard, from Valley Springs, California. The passenger was identified as 38 year old male Richard Royal, from Linden, California. Pursuant to the traffic stop, 38.7 pounds of suspected marijuana was found and seized. Also 1,006.00 dollars was found and seized. Goddard and Royal were incarcerated in the Power County Jail where they are being charged with trafficking a controlled substance and felony possession of marijuana.
