Serious Injury Crash Near Lake Lowell

CANYON COUNTY, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a four-vehicle collision which occurred on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 11:19 a.m., at the intersection of Lake Shore Dr and Pump Rd, in Canyon County.

A 2015 Honda Accord, was traveling eastbound on Lake Shore Dr. A group of motorcycles were traveling westbound on Lake Shore Dr. when a White 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle attempted to catch up with the other motorcyclists. The motorcycle crossed into the eastbound lanes and side swiped the Honda Accord. The driver of the Honda Accord swerved into the westbound lanes, and struck a maroon 2010 Victory motorcycle head on. A black 2023 Can-AM Ryker, driven by a 49- year-old-from Nampa, then struck the Honda Accord. All vehicles came to rest at the intersection of Lake Shore Dr and Pump Rd.

The driver of the Accord, a 47-year- old woman from Highlands, California was wearing her seatbelt. The driver of the Victory motorcycle, a 33- year- old woman from North Platte, Nebraska, was transported via air ambulance to a hospital. The driver of the Harley Davidson, a 34-year-old woman from Boise, was transported via ground ambulance to a hospital.

The intersection was closed for approximately three hours.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
