Single Commercial Vehicle Crash in Minidoka County

MINIDOKA COUNTY, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a single Commercial Vehicle crash that occurred April 14^th, 2026 at 11:59 A.M., eastbound I84 at mile marker 211 in Heyburn.

A 1995 Freightliner, driven by a 33-year-old male from Jerome, Idaho was traveling eastbound on I84 near mile marker 211 in the construction zone when he struck a concrete barrier blocking the eastbound lane of travel.

The driver was not injured and was not wearing a seat belt at the time of crash.

Construction crews made an emergency lane on the right shoulder to move traffic through the area.

Lanes are still currently blocked.

Idaho State Police were assisted by Idaho Department of Transportation, Minidoka County Sheriff Office, Heyburn Fire Department, and Construction Company.

This crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
