Single vehicle Collision East of Burley

CASSIA COUNTY, ID – Idaho State Police is investigating a single vehicle rollover which occurred on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 4:30 AM, near the junction of Interstate 86 and Interstate 84, east of Burley.

A 2011 Chevy Cruze, driven by an 18-year-old female from Hansen, was traveling westbound on Interstate 86 when the vehicle left the roadway into the median and rolled.

The driver was wearing a seatbelt. The rear and front passenger were not wearing a seatbelt. The driver and rear passenger, a 19-year-old female from Hansen, were taken by ground ambulance to a local hospital. The third passenger, a 19-year-old male from Lanai City, Hawaii, was taken by air ambulance to a local hospital.

Idaho State Police was assisted by Cassia County Sheriff’s Office, Emergency Response Ambulance, East End Fire Department & QRU, Air St. Luke’s and Hendrickson’s Road Solutions.

This crash is under investigation by Idaho State Police.
