Single Vehicle Crash East of Idaho Falls

BONNEVILLE COUNTY, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred at 4:46 pm, on July 19th, 2025, on eastbound US26 at mile post 340, east of Idaho Falls.


A 33-year-old male, and a 32-year-old female both from Idaho Falls, were traveling eastbound on US26 in a 1985 Chevrolet Blazer hauling a 1970 flatbed trailer. The trailer and Blazer began to fishtail. The Blazer rolled onto its side and the trailer came unhitched flipping onto its side. Both the trailer and Blazer came to a rest in the eastbound lanes.


The female passenger was transported via ground ambulance to a local hospital with minor injuries.


Idaho State Police was assisted by Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office, and Bonneville County Paramedics.


The eastbound lanes were blocked for approximately an hour to allow emergency responders to assist those involved.


This crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
