On February 20, 2013, at approximately 9:53 a.m., Idaho State Police investigated an injury crash on Interstate 86 near milepost 8.5, in Cassia County.
John Miller, 49, of Boise, was driving his 2000 Ford F250 Pickup, west on Interstate 86 in the passing lane. Miller passed a commercial vehicle and moved back into the right lane of travel, lost control of his vehicle, traveled off the right shoulder and over turned coming to rest on its wheels. Miller and his passenger, Eric Hughes, 33, of Meridian, were transported by ground ambulance to Cassia Regional Medical Center in Burley. Miller and Hughes were both wearing seat belts.
