On April 16, 2013 at approximately 7:30pm, the Idaho State Police investigated a one vehicle crash on I-86 near mile marker 62. Joshua Smith, age 23, of Pocatello, was driving westbound on I-86 when he drove off the right shoulder, down an embankment and into a fence. Smith's vehicle rolled and came to rest on its top. Smith was taken by ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center. This crash is still under investigation.
