Idaho State Police is investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at approximately 7:13 PM, on interstate 84 at milepost 2, in Payette County. A Chevrolet Tahoe, driven by an 18-year-old male from Nampa, was travelling eastbound where it entered the median, came back on the roadway, overcorrected and overturned.

The driver was transported to a local hospital via air ambulance. He was wearing a seatbelt.

Traffic on interstate 84 going eastbound was blocked for approximately two and a half hours to allow emergency responders to assist those involved and clear the scene.
