On July 19th, 2020, at approximately 7:55 am, the Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle crash on US95 at milepost 294, just south of Lapwai. Taunia Hosking, 40, of Lewiston, was driving a gold 2011 Ford F350 when she lost control of the vehicle, went down the embankment, and struck a tree. Hosking and her juvenile passenger were transported by ambulance to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston. They were both wearing seatbelts. This investigation is still ongoing.
