Single-Vehicle Crash with Two Deceased in Canyon County

CANYON COUNTY, Idaho – The Idaho State Police is investigating a single-vehicle fatality crash that occurred on February 21st, 2026, at approximately 12:12 A.M. on Lewis Lane near S McDermott Road in Canyon County, Idaho.

A black Jaguar F-Type was eastbound on Lewis Lane near S. McDermott Road when the driver failed to negotiate a curve in the road. The vehicle went off the roadway where it hit a canal bank before colliding with a tree and into a shed.

Both occupants of the vehicle, a 50-year-old male and 66-year-old male, both from Nampa, Idaho, succumbed to their injuries on scene.

The roadway was blocked for approximately 3 hours and 27 minutes to allow emergency responders to assist those involved.

The Idaho State Police was assisted by the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office, Canyon County Paramedics, and Kuna Fire Department.

This crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
