Single Vehicle Fatal Crash in Elmore County

ELMORE COUNTY, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred on October 25, 2025, at approximately 12:36 a.m. on NW Outback Road south of NW Carl Hickey Road in Elmore County.

A juvenile male of Mountain Home was driving a 1987 Dodge Dakota traveling north on NW Outback Road. The Dodge departed the unimproved roadway and overturned.

The driver of the Dodge succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash. A juvenile male passenger of the Dodge was transported to a local hospital by air ambulance.

Neither occupant of the Dodge was wearing a safety restraint.

The incident remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
