Single Vehicle Fatal Crash on I90 eastbound Interchange 62.

The Idaho State Police and Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a fatal crash which occurred August 13th, 2024, at approximately 11:35 PM on I90 eastbound interchange 62 in Wallace, Idaho.  A 40-year-old female from Pinehurst Idaho, who was the driver and sole occupant of a blue 2002 Ford F-150, was involved in a single vehicle crash between the I90 eastbound interchange 62 off ramp and I90 eastbound interchange 62 on ramp.  The female driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. 

The I90 eastbound interchange 62 on ramp and I90 westbound interchange 62 off ramp were blocked for approximately 4 hours while emergency responders processed the crash scene. Through traffic on I90 was not obstructed.

Next of kin for the deceased has been notified. 

This crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
