Single Vehicle Fatality Crash in Twin Falls County

TWIN FALLS COUNTY, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a single-vehicle fatality crash that occurred at 6:36 P.M., on March 8th, 2026, on E 4800 N near N 800 E, northwest of Buhl.

A gold 2004 Dodge Ram 1500, driven by a 39-year-old male from Buhl, with three juvenile passengers, was driving westbound on 4800 N when he left the roadway, going off the right shoulder and rolling the pickup multiple times.

The driver and one juvenile succumbed to their injuries on scene. A second juvenile was transported by air ambulance to a local hospital. The third juvenile was transported by personal vehicle from the scene. One juvenile was wearing a seatbelt, the other three occupants were not wearing their seatbelts.

Alcohol and speed are suspected to be contributing factors.

The roadway was blocked for approximately three hours.

Idaho State Police was assisted by Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office, Magic Valley Paramedics, Air St. Lukes, Castleford Fire, Buhl Police Department, and Buhl QRU.
