Single Vehicle Fatality Fremont County

WARM RIVER, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a single vehicle collision that occurred at 11:04 a.m. on Saturday September 13, 2025, on SH47 at milepost 11, in Fremont County.

A Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by a 75-year-old male of Ammon, ID, was traveling north bound on state highway 47 when the motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve, went off the shoulder and down a ravine.

The driver of the Harley-Davidson succumbed to his injuries on scene. The driver was not wearing a helmet.

Both lanes of state highway 47 were blocked for approximately four hours to allow emergency personnel to assist those involved and clear the scene.

The incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
