On July 22, 2013, at approximately 4:45 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a vehicle fire on Interstate 15, close to milepost 109, near Shelley, ID.

Robert Magner, 58, of Roundup, Montana, was travelling north on I15 with passenger Marie Wagner, 49, also of Roundup, MT, in a 1995 Ford pickup. The vehicle caught fire and Magner came to a stop near milepost 109.

Both lanes of northbound travel were blocked for approximately 40 minutes. One lane continued to be blocked for an additional 30 minutes.

All lanes of travel are currently open.
