On Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at approximately 4:20 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a single-vehicle injury crash on Interstate 84 near milepost 68, east of Boise.
Page E. Boyer, 19, of Nyssa, Oregon, was driving eastbound in a 2002 Ford Focus. Boyer went off the left shoulder, overcorrected and went down a rocky embankment, rolling the vehicle.
Page E. Boyer and a juvenile passenger were transported by ground ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. Another passenger, David H. Boyer, 25, of Nyssa, Oregon, was transported by air ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise. All occupants were wearing seatbelts.
The left lane was blocked by emergency vehicles for approximately two and a half hours while crews worked to clear the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
