On May 29, 2015 at approximately 1:45 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle, injury crash on Interstate 84 at milepost 156, near Wendell.

Mohammed Bin Zaid, 22, of Pocatello, was driving westbound in a 2003 BMW Z4. The vehicle went off the right shoulder, struck the right of way fence, and came to rest upright.

Bin Zaid was transported via ground ambulance to North Canyon Medical in Gooding. It is unknown if he was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
