On April 20, 2015 at approximately 6:54 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a single-vehicle, rollover crash westbound Interstate 84 at milepost 1, near Fruitland. Cristina Rodriguez Collado, age 39 of Kennewick, WA was traveling westbound on Interstate 84 in a 2002 Toyota Echo, when she swerved into the median and rolled her vehicle. Rodriguez Collado was transported by ground ambulance to St. Luke's Fruitland.

Rodriguez Collado was not wearing her seatbelt. The left lane of westbound travel was blocked for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. The crash is under investigation by Idaho State Police.
