Idaho’s State FY 2026 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) application, 2026 Annual Report, 2026 Death in Custody Reporting Act (DCRA) Implementation Plan Update, and the FY 2024 – 2028 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Idaho Strategic Plan are available for public view and comment until October 22, 2026.  All are located on PGR’s website: https://isp.idaho.gov/pgr/grants/.

As the governor appointed State Administering Agency (SAA), Idaho State Police/Pass-Through Grants and Research (PGR) submitted the state JAG application and required documents, including the Annual Report and DCRA Implementation Plan to the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) on September 22, 2026.  The Annual Report provides an update on program implementation efforts as detailed in the strategic plan submitted in 2024.  The DCRA Implementation Plan addresses the changes to DCRA reporting implemented in 2025.
