TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO CASH SEIZURE

On March 10th, 2011, Cpl. Vance Cox, Idaho State Police, stopped a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am for a traffic violation that occurred on Interstate 15 near Roberts, Id. The driver was displaying signs of drug use and during a search of the vehicle $9,982.00 was located. Jefferson County Sheriff's Office responded to assist and deployed a K-9 drug dog. Detectives from the Idaho State Police assisted with the investigation, and the money was seized. The investigation is on-going.
