The 65-year-old male from Nampa driving the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado succumbed to his injuries at the hospital on August 31, 2024.
The Ada County Coroner’s Office will release the decedent’s identity. The crash remains under investigation.

Nampa, Idaho – Two vehicle injury crash in Nampa
Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle injury crash that occurred on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 12:59 p.m., 15324 Riverside Rd, in Canyon County, Idaho.
A 65-year-old male, of Nampa, was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pickup northbound on Riverside Rd. The Silverado drifted onto the right shoulder, overcorrected, and came back into the lanes of travel impacting the side of the Peterbuilt.
A 53-year-old male, of Payette, was driving a 2009 Peterbuilt sanitation truck southbound on Riverside Rd.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. The driver of the Silverado was transported by air ambulance to a local hospital.
The road was completely blocked for approximately two and a half hours.
The incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
