On Saturday, December 21, 2019, at 6:19 PM, Idaho State Police investigated a crash eastbound I84 at mile marker 33, near Nampa.

Leigh Mills, 49, of Nampa, was traveling eastbound on the on ramp in a Ford Explorer. Antonio Godina, 19, of Parma, was traveling eastbound on the on ramp in a Ford Taurus behind Mills. Mills slowed to merge onto I84 and was struck from behind by Godina. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts. Mills was transported to St Lukes Nampa by ground ambulance.

The on ramp was partially blocked for approximately one hour.
