Two Vehicle Crash Near Swan Valley on US26 Blocks Lanes

BONNEVILLE COUNTY, Idaho – Idaho State Police is currently investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred September 7, 2026, at approximately 11:15 a.m., at milepost 372 westbound on US Highway 26, near Swan Valley.

A 2016 Ford F350 pickup towing a camp trailer and a trailer with a Razor on it, driven by a 51-year-old-male of Idaho Falls,Idaho, was traveling westbound on Highway 26.  The trailer with the Razor came detached from the pickup and came to rest in the middle of the westbound lanes.  A 2020 Winnebago motor home towing a 2021 Jeep, driven by a 79-year-old-male of Crestview, Florida, was traveling eastbound on Highway 26 and struck the trailer that was resting in the lanes.

The driver and passenger of the motor home were transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital.  All occupants of both vehicles were wearing seatbelts.  The westbound lanes of travel are still blocked.  See 511.idaho.gov for updates.

The incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
