On October 7, 2010 at approximately 4:10 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a two vehicle injury crash northbound on SH75 at milepost 91 in Shoshone County.
Jose Blanco, 16, of Ketchum, ID was traveling northbound on SH75 in a 1997 Ford Expedition when for unknown reasons he crossed the center line. Shadd Bollar, 30, of Jerome, ID driving a 2007 International Semi, saw Blanco cross the center line and swerved right in an attempt to miss the Expedition but was unable to avoid him.
Jose Blanco was taken by air ambulance to St. Lukes in Twin Falls, Blanco's passengers Adella, Adrian, Eric and Gabriela Blanco were all transported by ground ambulance to St. Lukes in Twin Falls. Shadd Bollar was not injured. Shadd Bollar, Jose, Adrian, and Eric Blanco were wearing seat belts, Adella, and Gabriela were not. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in this crash.
This crash is still under investigation by Master Trooper Nye who was assisted at the scene by CPL Stouse, Lincoln County Sheriff Deputies, Paramedics, and Fire Department.
