On Monday August 22, 2016, at approximately 2:50 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a two vehicle crash on US93 just south of I84.

Jennifer Ordaz, 38, of Jerome, was traveling northbound on US93 in a 2005 Chevy Impala, and had slowed to merge into the right hand lane of travel. Brandalyn Sartain, 19, of Hagerman, was traveling northbound on US93 in a 1998 Mercury Mystique. Sartain failed to slow and struck Ordaz from behind.

Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
