Two-Vehicle Crash Results in Single Fatality
BOISE COUNTY, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle fatality crash that occurred at 7:03 p.m., August 15, 2025, at southbound State Highway 21 at milepost 49.5, in Boise County.
A 19-year-old female, of Homedale, with a 22-year-old female passenger and one juvenile passenger, both of Marsing, was traveling southbound in a 1997 Saturn SL1.
A 59-year-old male, with a 64-year-old female passenger, both of Kuna, was driving a 2014 Ram 3500 pickup, traveling northbound.
The Saturn ran off the road and came back on crossing the center line into oncoming traffic where it collided with the Ram.
The driver of the Saturn was transported by air ambulance, and the juvenile was transported by ground ambulance, both to local hospitals.
Both adult occupants of the Saturn were not wearing their seatbelts, the juvenile was restrained in a child safety seat. The occupants of the Ram were wearing their seatbelts.
The 22-year-old female passenger of the Saturn succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the crash.
The occupants of the Ram were not transported.
All lanes of travel were blocked for three hours and 43 minutes, then the southbound lanes opened. The northbound lanes remained blocked for an additional hour and four minutes.
This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
