Two-vehicle fatality crash on South Cherry Street in Shoshone
SHOSHONE, Idaho – Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle fatality collision that occurred at 4:58pm on Monday July 22,2024 in Shoshone, Idaho.
A 2008 Harley Davidson driven by a 65-year-old male, was traveling southbound on South Cherry Street when it struck a 2006 Jeep Liberty. The Jeep, driven by a 19-year-old female, was traveling westbound on West C Street.
The driver of the motorcycle was not wearing a helmet. The female was wearing a seatbelt. The male succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The female was not transported.
The roadway was blocked for approximately four hours but is now open for normal traffic.
This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police. ISP was assisted by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Lincoln County Paramedics, and the Lincoln County Fire department.
