Two-Vehicle Injury Crash in Bonneville County

BONNEVILLE COUNTY, IDAHO- Idaho State Police is investigating a two-vehicle injury crash that occurred on Monday, September 28, 2026, at approximately 06:31 p.m. The crash occurred at the intersection of US Highway 26 and N 45th E just east of Idaho Falls, Idaho.

A 2005 Toyota Prius, driven by a 28-year-old female from Ammon, Idaho was driving southbound on N 45th E. A 2023 Nissan Rogue, driven by a 63-year-old female from Boise, Idaho was driving east bound on US26. The Toyota continued south on N 45th E when it collided with the Nissan in the intersection.

The drivers of the Toyota and Nissan were transported via ground ambulance to a local hospital and were both wearing seatbelts.

The intersection of US26 and N 45th E was blocked for approximately an hour and a half.

Idaho State Police was assisted by Idaho Falls Fire Department, Idaho Falls EMS, and Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office.

This incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
