Idaho State Police is investigating a vehicle collision that occurred on March 1, 2022, at 9:10 a.m. on US26 near milepost 302.5, in Moreland.

A male driver was travelling westbound in a Honda CR-V. The vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a Peterbilt semi-truck hauling potatoes, driven by 43 year old male from Blackfoot.

The driver of the Honda was transported to a local hospital via ground ambulance.

The lanes of travel were blocked for approximately 3 hours.
