This crash occurred on US-95 at milepost 167, 6 miles north of New Meadows. Nielson was driving a 2008 Mazda 6.

On Wednesday July 9, 2014, at approximately 10:57 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a single vehicle crash on US Highway 95 at milepost 155, north of New Meadows. A 2004 Honda Rebel, driven by Angela Nielson, 34 of Lapoint, UT, was headed northbound on US95, when she drifted across both lanes of traffic and into the barrow pit, where her vehicle then struck a tree. Nielson was not wearing a seatbelt, but air bags did deploy. Nielson was transported to St. Lukes McCall for injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
