DATE: 07/14/2018 TIME: 1:30 PM LOCATION: NB US95 MP 446 near Silverwood Theme Park

**Update** At approximately 6:30 on Saturday, July 14th, 2018, Kootenai County Sheriff's Office attempted to stop a blue 1997 Toyota Camry driven by Howard R Brammer, 49 year old male of Athol ID. Brammer took the northbound US95 446 offramp at a high rate of speed and failed to negotiate the curve. Brammer was ejected in the crash, and was was transported by ground ambulance Kootenai Health where he was pronounced deceased as a result of the crash. Brammer was the sole occupant of the vehicle. Next of kin has been notified. Brammer was not wearing a seat belt.

One lane of travel is now open to exit #446. Multiple units are still on scene investigating the crash.

Idaho State Police and other agencies are currently on scene of a crash on US95 near Silverwood Theme Park, south of Athol, Idaho. The northbound primary exit, #446, to Silverwood is currently completely blocked. This may affect traffic incoming to the park. Please consider using alternate routes and expect delays through the area.
