INCIDENT NARRATIVE:

***UPDATE** Next of kin for the pedestrian involved, Julia Free, have been notified. Free also succumbed to her injuries at Kootenai Health on December 1st at 1216 hours.

Olson was traveling west on Best Ave when he struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian was walking north across Best Ave in an area not designated or marked as a crosswalk when the incident occurred. Pedestrian identification is being withheld pending family notification.
