UPDATE: Idaho State Police Seeking Witnesses and Video of Fatal I-84 Crash

NAMPA, Idaho – The Idaho State Police is seeking information about the fatal crash that occurred on November 25, 2025, at approximately 3:06 p.m. on westbound I-84 near milepost 39 when a 2007 GMC Sierra rear-ended a 2013 Ford F450 box truck. One juvenile in the GMC died at the scene, and three other occupants were transported to a local hospital.

Two-Vehicle Fatality Crash Near Nampa

The Idaho State Police is currently investigating a two-vehicle fatality crash that occurred November 25th, 2025, at approximately 3:06 p.m., westbound I84 near milepost 39 in Canyon County, Idaho.

A white 2013 Ford F450 Box Truck, driven by a 21-year-old-male from Nampa, Idaho, with one adult male passenger, was westbound on I-84 when it was rear-ended by a black 2007 GMC Sierra, driven by a 31-year-old-male of Meridian, Idaho, with juvenile passengers.

Occupants of the Ford were uninjured. One juvenile succumbed to their injuries on scene.

Three occupants of the GMC were transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital.

The westbound lanes were blocked for approximately 3 hours.

The Idaho State Police was assisted by Ada County Sherrif’s Office, Canyon County Paramedics, Nampa Fire Department, and Idaho Transportation Department.

This crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
