The Idaho State Police is looking for any witnesses to a crash involving a blue and grey Kenworth Dump truck on Tuesday June 17th on SH 57 near MP 20 south of Priest Lake. The collision occurred just after 10am in the northbound lane of travel. Anyone with information please call Tpr. Lehman at (208) 209-8620.

INCIDENT NARRATIVE: Abey was traveling Northbound on State Highway 57 just North of mile post 20 when he left the roadway on the right hand side. Abey's vehicle went down a 10-foot embankment and struck several trees. Abey was transported to Newport Hospital with injuries. The minor child in the cab of the Kenworth was declared deceased on scene.
