On August 8, 2019, at approximately 6:42 p.m. Idaho State Police investigated a crash northbound State Highway 75 near Milepost 198.4, east of Stanley.

Allen R. Joseph, 31, of Belgrade, MT, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado pickup. Colby L. Wilson, 29, of Boise, ID, and his passenger Brett A. Medenwaldt, 28, of Mountain Home, ID, were traveling in a 2000 Ford F350 pickup.

Joseph was driving northbound on State Highway 75 when the vehicle crossed the line into the southbound lane. Wilson swerved to avoid being hit by Joseph's vehicle and drove into a bar ditch. The Silverado struck the Ford F350 pickup in the southbound lane.

Lanes were blocked for approximately three hours. All occupants were wearing seatbelts. Occupants were not transported.
