On Saturday, December 30, 2018, at 1:18 a.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a vehicle versus pedestrian fatality crash on Northside Boulevard just north of 6th Street N in Nampa.

Thomas J. Canning, 77 of Nampa, was driving southbound in a 2003 Jaguar S-Type. Jessica M. Justice, 39 of Nampa, was crossing Northside Boulevard on foot just north of 6th Street N when she was struck by Canning's vehicle. Justice succumbed to her injuries on scene. Family notification has been made.

The northbound lanes of Northside Boulevard were blocked for approximately 2.5 hours.

This crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
