Idaho State Police will be hosting a multi-agency DUI emphasis for St. Patrick's day, the fourth busiest drinking day of the year. Due to Covid-19 concerns, there will not be a briefing beforehand, however, Treasure Valley law enforcement will still be in full force looking for impaired drivers.

Some tips for safe celebration:

Don't drink and drive

Don't get into a car with a driver who has been drinking

Organize a ride home before you go out

Don't let your friends or family drink and drive

Always wear your seatbelt- it is your best defense against drunk drivers
