On Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at 11:56 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a one-vehicle, fatality crash on State Highway 24, north of Kimama.

Juan Lopez Campos, 27, of Mexico, was driving a 1999 GMC Sonoma westbound on State Highway 24 near milepost 44, when his vehicle went off the north shoulder. Lopez Campos then drove back on the road, where his vehicle rolled, and came to rest on the south shoulder. Lopez Campos was ejected from his vehicle and succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash. Next of kin has been notified.

Lopez Campos was not wearing a seatbelt. The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.

The Idaho State Police is currently on location of a single vehicle rollover on State Highway 24 milepost 44, north of Kimama. The driver of the vehicle succumbed to their injuries on location. More information will be released as it becomes available.
