On Sunday, June 10, 2018, at approximately 7:52 p.m., Idaho State Police investigated a vehicle versus pedestrian injury crash at the intersection of Blaine St and 21st Ave in Caldwell.

A juvenile was driving a 2008 Dodge Dakota pickup southbound on 21st Ave crossing the intersection of Blaine St. A juvenile on a bicycle was riding westbound on Blaine St. The bicycle entered the intersection and struck the Dodge Dakota.

The juvenile rider of the bicycle was taken by ground ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical center in Boise and was not wearing a helmet. The driver of the Dodge Dakota was wearing a seatbelt.

This crash is under investigation by they Idaho State Police.
