On Friday, July 6, 2018, at approximately 6:22 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a vehicle versus pedestrian crash, at the intersection of E Elm St and S Plymouth Ave, in New Plymouth.
Abbie Carr, 20, of Payette, was walking north on the northwest corner of the intersection.
Augustus George, 19, of New Plymouth, was traveling northwest on Southeast Ave in a 2014 Nissan Versa.
The Nissan left the roadway and struck Carr on the sidewalk. Carr was taken by air ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise.
All three occupants of George's vehicle were wearing their seatbelts, and none were transported.
This crash is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
