Vehicle Versus Pedestrian Crash on Interstate 84 in Ada County

ADA COUNTY, ID – Idaho State Police is investigating a vehicle versus pedestrian crash which occurred on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at approximately 3:00 am, on Interstate 84 at milepost 42, in Meridian.

A 2017 Ford Mustang, driven by a 20-year-old male from Nampa, was traveling eastbound on Interstate 84.  A 26-year-old-male of Nampa, Idaho, was walking eastbound on Interstate 84 in the lane of travel.  The pedestrian was struck in the lane of travel by the Ford Mustang, and the pedestrian succumbed to their injuries at the scene of the crash.

The eastbound onramp at the Ten Mile exit was blocked for approximately 3 hours. 

This crash remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
