Vehicle vs. Pedestrian Crash in Orofino, Idaho
The Idaho State Police are currently investigating a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash that occurred on Michigan Avenue and North A Street.
On November 12th, 2025, just after 6:11 pm The Idaho State Police Troopers were dispatched to a collision involving one vehicle and two pedestrians. A witness to the incident immediately called 911. The pedestrians, a 76-year-old male and 75-year-old female were transported to the Clearwater Valley Health center by ground ambulance. The driver was a 46-year-old female.
The incident is still under investigation by the Idaho State Police. Traffic is completely blocked off on Michigan Avenue from North A Street to Johnson Avenue. Drivers are requested to avoid the area.
The Idaho State Police would like to remind drivers to be extra careful when driving through areas with heavy foot traffic, and pay attention at all times.
The Orofino Police Department, Clearwater County Sheriff’s Department, and Orofino Fire Department all assisted with the incident.
