Idaho State Police is investigating a crash that occurred May 24, 2023, at 11:11 pm in Boise, ID.

A 20-year-old male from Washington, UT, was driving a 2005 Toyota Corolla eastbound on State St. A 66-year-old male from Boise, ID, was attempting to cross from the north side of State St. to the south side of State St., between N Clithero Dr. and N Vine St., on foot. The pedestrian ran in front of the Toyota and was struck.

The pedestrian was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital. The roads in the area were partially blocked for approximately 2 hours as crews investigated the scene.
