On Sunday, August 13, 2017, at 1:11 am, Idaho State Police investigated a vehicle vs. train crash on Leigh Lane north of Parma, ID.
Jack E. Carey, 60, of Sand Hallow, ID, got his 2006 Ford F150 stuck on the train tracks. The Ford was struck by a passing Union Pacific train. Carey and his passenger, Renisha L. Montoya, 47, of Meridian, ID, were both out of the vehicle at the time of the crash. There were no injuries to either occupant or the train personnel.
