INCIDENT NARRATIVE: On October 30, 2013 at approximately 2:29 pm an Idaho State Police Trooper stopped to assist a motorist parked eastbound on US12 at milepost 30. The driver was identified as Paul A Pitonyak, 23 year old Caucasian male of Erie, Pennsylvania. During contact the Trooper became suspicious of criminal activity and requested for a drug detection K9 to respond. While waiting for the K9 to arrive, Mr Pitonyak fled the scene. After a K9 alert, the vehicle was searched. Approximately 10 pounds of Marijuana was discovered in a suitcase in the trunk of the car. A search of the area for Pitonyak was unsuccessful. Pitonyak was last seen at approximately 9 pm at Eberhardt rd and US12. Paul Pitonyak is 5?11 160-185 lbs, brown hair, brown eyes and was wearing a brown coat, light blue jeans and white shoes. Paul Pitonyak is wanted in connection with this drug trafficking investigation. If located please contact the Idaho State Police at 208-799-5150.
